March 2011

Another great steelhead season is winding to an end. The wet weather the past few weeks has put a damper on the fishing but with such a wonderful January and February I can hardly complain. The few days I’ve been able to sneak out on the South Fork Eel have been good fishing but unfortunately it’s been blown out quite a bit. I’ve got a few more days on the books before packing it in for the winter. Even though it’s getting late in the season there are still some bright fish coming in. The picture is of a beautiful 13 pound buck Dale Ringer caught last week.
